Wrong choice of stimulation fluids or techniques damaging the reservoir/well
When performing chemical, hydraulic or thermal stimulation or when developping the wells after drilling, damages can be done to the reservoir if the methods is not consistent with formation and fluid properties,. The damages done, either close to the wellbore or deep into the formations may lead to irreversible deterioration of production or injection capacity.
